Played course on May 17th 2023. This course has one of the best layouts I have played. It is a very fun course and you have to think about your next shot and play smart. As for the condition it is not in bad shape. Tee boxes great, fairways good, and the bunkers are nice. However maybe like 10 out of 18 greens need work but you can clearly see from the pictures they're working on them. But, the greens still roll well. With that being said I don't think the prices should be over $100 with that many greens still needing work. If I pay $100 plus for golf I don't expect to go to over half of the greens with sand all over them. It's just not right. The cart lady is around a lot and the food at the turn was great. I recommend the 3 meat wrap. Also this course should add water throughout for those wanting to fill up on water. Good course to play, but prices extreme for the work that needs to be done still.

Great golf course with beautiful views. Some holes are very challenging with specific landing areas. Pace of play was perfect for two of us. It was CPO the day we played but paths seemed to be routed in a way that it wasn’t that bad. Starter told us the greens would be slow due to the rain the night before but we found them to be fairly quick and rolling true. Golf in this area can be expensive and this one wasn’t “cheap” but less than many others with no sacrifice in condition. All the employees we interacted with were friendly.

Challenging and wrought of danger! No, really challenging for 1st timers but course is in great shape. Drink and food prices reasonable and friendly staff taking care of the out of towners. Alligators everywhere but they don't mess with you.

We had a wonderful round at Old South! A beautiful course, awesome golf carts with GPS, and excellent friendly staff. The round was affordable and the pace of play was fast. This was our favorite course we played in Hilton Head. You can tell they are doing a lot of work on the course, which they were very up front about, but it did not impact our experience in the least!

Very reasonably priced round of golf. Liked the overall course layout and some of the holes along the marsh had great views. The course was in good shape for this time of year and pace of place was right where we had hoped at 4 hours. From starter to clubhouse workers everyone was super friendly and helpful. Would recommend trying this course out.

One of the most fun golf courses on Hilton Head Island in my opinion. A variety of holes here, including doglegs, island fairways and more. Beautiful low country wildlife and scenery throughout.

Visitors from Texas. Cool experience with my wife and junior golfer daughter. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Course has great views and lots of wildlife, got to see a gator. Greens were recently punched but rolled good. I regret not buying a hat before I left!

Came here during our vacation to Hilton Head. Great course and is even better for the price. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a nice course without breaking the bank.
